China International Internship: Summer 2008

Host Company: Wuhan Humanwell Hi-Tech Industry Co.
Location: Wuhan, Hubei Province
Program Fees: Cost of program $7,000*
Program Components
On Campus Housing: Double occupancy is offered at the new international student dorm building.
Course Offerings: 12 credits total
CUG: Students will take Chinese language courses, a Chinese business course (taught in English). Each course carries 3 transfer credits.
Bryant: IB390 and IB391(International internship with Wuhan Humanwell Hi-Tech Industry Co.)
Student Activities: Students will participate in travel around Wuhan and to some cultural sites and corporate visit in and round Shanghai area.
*International airfare is included.

Program Components
On Campus Housing: Single or double occupancy is offered at the new international student dorm building.
Course Options: Students will be able to choose 2-3 Chinese language courses at levels appropriate to them. At the same time, students can select a course on Chinese culture and history (taught in English), or a business course (taught in English), or both. Each course carries 3 credits.
Student Activities: Students will be able to participate in various activities campus wide or specifically organized for international students, which may include trips to the Three Gorges Dam or other local areas.
*International airfare is not included.
