  • STARTALK Summer Chinese Program: provides professional development training for K-12 teachers and intensive Chinese language instruction and cultural immersion activities for middle school and high school students.

  • China Study Trip: provides American teachers and students the opportunity to explore the rich history, culture, and dynamic economy of China, CIBU organizes study trips to historical and cultural landmarks and tours of natural landscapes, as well as opportunities to interact with the local community.

  • Chinese Test Services: Bryant University is the first institution in New England authorized by China's Ministry of Education to offer standardized Chinese language tests, including Chinese Proficiency Tests (HSK), the Business Chinese Test (BCT), and the Young Learners Chinese Test (YCT).

  • Young Learner Chinese Class: introduces students to basic conversational Chinese as well as reading and writing skills. Emphasis will be given on immersing the students in the language and providing a good foundation in essential phrases and commonly used vocabulary.

  • Private Tutoring: one-on-one language instruction at a pace accommodating individual language level and schedule.

  • Saturday Heritage Chinese: for heritage students with a focus on Chinese reading and writing.

  • Culture Celebration: to introduce and increase the awareness of Chinese tradition, we hold annual traditional holiday celebrations at Bryant campus, including the Mid-Autumn Festival in September and Chinese New Year in the winter.

  • Golden Jasmine Chinese Film Festival: a collaboration with the Rhode Island International Film Festival, the Festival aims at at introducing Chinese social, cultural and economic landscape to the American audiences through authentic Chinese films and interaction with filmmakers.

  • Confucius Library: housing thousands of volumes of books (including audio/video materials) about Chinese history and culture, politics and economy, and ancient and contemporary literature, as well as textbooks and reference books in Chinese and English.
