2010 Study trip to China

An optional study trip to China will be open to teachers and high school participants following the STARTALK Program at Bryant. Travelers will visit landmarks such as the Great Wall and Forbidden City in Beijing, experience the rapid economic development of China at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, and explore Hangzhou and Suzhou, “ the noblest city and the best metropolis in the world” marveled Marco Polo, in East China.

The trip will be subsidized by the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) in Beijing. The estimated cost of the trip for each participant is $2,500 to cover the international air fare, visa application fee, World Expo Admission ticket, portion of domestic transportation in China and program fee. The accommodation and food in China will be funded by Hanban.

Nonrefundable deposit of $500 is due on Wednesday, May 26th. The 2nd payment of $1000 is due on June 7th and the last payment of $1000 is due on June 18th. Check payment only. Payable to "Bryant University".
