2011 K-12 Administrator China Trip
Anticipated Travel Dates: December 6-16, 2011

Objectives: To strengthen the relationship between K-12 teachers and administrators in the United States with those in China, and to kindle and start future partnerships with potential K-12 sister schools. To make worldwide connections with participants from Confucius Institutes around the world.

Description: Education trip organized by the Confucius Institute at Bryant University, under the support of Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters to help education administrators and teachers expand and incorporate cultural activities and programs. This tour of China will include a trip to Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Beijing, China.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Experience China
  • Visit Chinese K-12 schools
  • Meet with Chinese administrators and teachers
  • Establish and start partnerships to share best practices and resources
  • Attend local cultural performances and activities
  • Have the opportunity to participate in the annual Confucius Institute Conference
