As part of the Lincoln School Department’s partnership with Bryant University, The Confucius Classroom at Lincoln High School in Rhode Island promotes Chinese language and culture through coursework and community outreach activities.

The mission of the Lincoln High School community is to educate all students in a safe, nurturing and respectful environment that empowers them to become lifelong learners and productive citizens in a global society.  The Confucius Classroom certainly brings a dynamic and exciting aspect to our school.  It provides our students with a wonderful opportunity to expand their horizons and develop an enviable understanding of Chinese culture.  For more information about Lincoln High School, please visit their website .

Through this partnership, students are exposed to excellent programming that will help them succeed in higher education and the workplace.  This valuable partnership is an integral part of Superintendent Georgia Fortunato’s drive to provide world class programs to the students of Lincoln, RI.

Currently, students are enrolled in Mandarin Chinese I and Asian Art.  Both programs are off to a great start and Lincoln High School is excited to expand programmatic offerings in the future.
